1. Exit Fees
The GMLC membership voted at their annual meeting in May 2010, to institute at $500 withdrawal fee for institutions who left GMLC. The fee was proposed to maintain the sustainability of the consortium and to cover the administrative costs of membership work. This fee is not without its detractors.
The GMLC Board will have a meeting in January to re-examine its membership policies. The meeting will be publicized and comments from member libraries will be encouraged.
