An update

A few apologies, and an update –

  • The Ilsley Public Library have generously offered to host the Listen Up! Vermont server, and Chris Kirby of Ilsley has even more generously offered to act as our technology point person. This doesn’t mean that we all ring Chris with every little technical problem we’ve got; before the service is implemented we all — that is, every staff member of a library participating in the consortium — will have the opportunity to take training offered by OverDrive. We all will be able to answer almost all of the questions asked by our patrons.
  • An apology to all participating libraries with a VALS email address — your invoices did not come through, so I will print them out and mail them. You could also contact me with a non-VALS email for this instance and I will re-email.
  • And finally, an apology for not sending out those VALS invoices sooner — we here in Stowe had our HVAC system throw us for a loop, ending up without heat for Thursday and Friday. I’ve had quite a week down in the boiler room!

Stephanie, the AP person will not cut a check without a phone number and W-9 for the Green Mountain Library Consortium. Suggestions?Amy C. Grasmick at Kimball Library, Randolph

  2. Stephanie Chase, coordinator says:

Hm. I used my information to create the bank account. Do you think the town might be satisfied with that? Why don’t I ask my finance manager for her suggestions.
